Sandy, that is a beautiful photograph of the Old Parish Church.
I was brought up next door to the church, partly by my aunt Nell (Helen Crerar) and my grandfather James Crerar who was the village blacksmith.
The churchyard was a place to visit and run my fingers over the almost obliterated writing on the headstones, but one day, in a fit of exuberance, I danced on one of the stones that, being supported by short, fat legs, was like a table. Not a good idea! Grandpa made me understand that dancing on tombstones was not the sort of thing he expected his granddaughter to do.
